The arrangement, reached through joint efforts, was signed by Director General Mr. Liao Chao-hsiang of the Taiwan Customs Administration and Director General Mr. Antti Hartikainen of the Finnish Customs. Officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Finland and the Finnish Ministry of Finance attended the ceremony to witness the historical moment of furthering customs cooperation between both sides.

After the signing of the Administrative Cooperation Arrangement between the European Anti-Fraud Office and the Taiwan Customs Administration on November 25, 2016, this newly signed Arrangement will enable Taiwan and Finland Customs to strengthen efforts in combating illicit activities and create a win-win situation. It also underscores the determination of Taiwan Customs to collaborate with foreign Customs Agencies in pursuing a safe and convenient clearance environment.
