Kaohsiung Customs Holds 2014 Bonding Operation Personnel Seminar

Kaohsiung Customs (KHC) held the 2014 Bonding Operation Personnel Seminar on October 17th, 2014. A total of 23 excellent bonded factories and 31 excellent bonding operation personnel were commended during the session. The Director of KHC,Mr. David S.L.Huang presided the symposium in person. The participants were certificated bonding operation personnel. The case studies and a general discussion in the seminar covered not only the relevant bonded operation but also the computerization of the bonded factories. The purpose of the seminar is to boost communication and understanding between Customs and the business sectors.
KHC indicated that the bonded factories ranked by Customs as “Excellent” can improve their business profile and clearance efficiency. For example, there is no need for Customs to implement the on-site audit while verifying the unit material consumption list case by case. On the other hand, if Customs needs to audit in person, the rate of random examination will be lower than the one for the general companies. Customs highly appreciates those excellent bonding operation personnel for their dedication as being the best bridges between Customs and their companies. To praise their excellent performance, Customs specifically awarded them the certificates of merit.
